History
India has gone through a cultural change in last twenty years or so. Pace of change has got accelerated due to globalization and IT boom. Even our traditional city Pune could not remain unaffected. Small families have become a norm, with children being deprived of quality time with parents and joint family support.
Milestones realized this void quite early and over the years developed an expertise in early childhood development, care and education. They have been associated with over 175 schools and day-care centers and have provided them guidance, solutions and world class equipment, teaching aids and books.
Some very modern and outstanding preparatory schools and day-care centers have been setup by Milestones in the last 15 years.
Mr. Jay Rao, founder of Milestones®, is a technocrat, but child development is his first love. He always had this ambition of opening a world class education center for young children. Pumpkin Patch® is a realization of his dream and ambition.
About Us
Early childhood education or pre-schooling has emerged as a specialized area for imparting quality education. No more tutoring, but learning in unconventional yet interesting way! Pumpkin Patch believes in encouraging inquisitiveness in children and guides them to seek information and acquire knowledge.
At Pumpkin Patch, pre-schoolers are looked after by trained and dedicated teachers and care givers. While care for children has been the primary concern of the school, Pumpkin Patch gives due importance to inculcating good habits and behaviour in these young children. These are tough and demanding tasks which are efficiently executed with ample love, care and affection in a happy, healthy and safe environment.
This unique preparatory school with after school care offers readiness programs for children in the age group of 1.5 to 6 years, making child’s transition from home to school enjoyable and exciting.
A safe and child friendly environment ,well trained and dedicated teachers, age appropriate curriculum, a unique teaching methodology, emphasis on events and celebrations as co curricular activities and above all our passion and commitment towards the purpose has brought us thus far.
In 2013, Pumpkin Patch along with Milestones has started ‘Milestones Montessori School’. This centre is purely based on Montessori guidelines and currently two exclusive Montessori Environments are located at our school premises.
In all these years a unique culture has evolved – a culture of trust, learning, integrity, respect caring and fun. The result is a happy set of people –happy employees, happy children, satisfied parents and associates.
